Seeking 1 or 2 Bed Rental Property - Long Term

Hello EDF!

Myself and my partner are looking for our first flat together for at least 2 years. Ideally garden flat, which allows for a cat. We'd also love a spare room for family to visit. Looking to move from May onwards around 1500. Both full time employed in the city.

My last two rentals have been with private landlords and have really enjoyed it as we find it much easier to deal with property issues as estates agents can take weeks/months for small issues. Our current landlord we just agree whether it needs a professional or if it's simply something we can buy/fit ourselves then we just send him receipts/photos and take the money out of our rent. With this in mind we'd also be happy to take on some home improvements ourselves for the landlord if the rent reflected this. A garden in need of a makeover would be wonderful!
