Hi,

This bright and spacious two bedroom second floor flat is neutrally decorated and offered un furnished, but with white goods, and the option of the fold out dining table pictured and the large wardrobe pictured in the bigger bedroom.

It features one large and one small double bedroom, a modern bathroom, double glazing, laminate flooring and some lovely period features.

Outside there is a large communal garden with a bike shed and the kitchen opens out onto a fire escape down to the garden which we also use as a balcony. The main bedroom looks over the garden and the living room out over the park.

The flat is in an excellent location next door to the Rye pub and tenants will have easy access to all that Peckham has to offer, including some wonderful restaurants, bars, cinema and conveniently placed health food shop and supermarket. Being on the second floor it overlooks the northern end of the Rye park and benefits from an east/west aspect so that you enjoy the light at all times of day, including a perfect sunset into the living room. The block is small and quiet but very friendly, often throwing parties together in the summer and BBQs in the communal garden.

There are excellent transport links with over 6 bus routes within 200 yards and a five minute walk to Peckham Rye station.

This would suit a professional couple, small (or potential) family, or friends sharing. We lived here for the five years and due to a growing family have let it out to move further afield and somewhere bigger.

We absolutely love this flat and will be managing it ourselves. It is available from the 14th August on an assured shorthold tenancy for a minimum of 6 months at ?1500 pcm. To minimise disruption for our lovely tenants we'd like to do an open viewing on Sunday the 7th July between 2 and 4. If you'd like to come and see the flat then please send me a private message with your name and phone number. Many thanks for reading, Alice

    • Labour are proposing to nationalise the railways, (passenger trains but not fright)  Whilst it removes them from shareholders control, and potential profit chasing, is it workable or will it end up costing tax payers more in the long run?  On paper the idea is interesting but does it also need the profitable freight arm included to help reduce fares,?
    • Another recommendation here for Jason.  He came to plaster over a section of ceiling that we had to remove in order to investigate a leak.  He is a really lovely guy, easy to get in touch with and great communication.  He was quick, tidy and competitively priced.  Very happy and I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.
