Hello - We?re a couple with a 7 yr old daughter currently living in Herne Hill seeking a new place to live. Interested in buying but willing to rent. Property must have some character and be within walking distance of Dulwich Schools. Very open and flexible for the right property and terms. Earliest occupancy is mid September but we can be flexible give or take a couple of weeks. If you have a property coming available that you think may be of interest please don?t hesitate to contact me. Best, Morgan

I have a 3-bed flat that will be available in September. It's on Marmora Road, East Dulwich. Rent is ?2100/month. Some details below:

It is an exceptionally spacious 3-bedroom split level conversion flat (approx. 1400 SQ.FT) on the first and second floors of a large Victorian house on Marmora Road.

With extensive views of Central London to the rear, it comes with a shared large 70ft rear garden. 2/5 of the garden belongs to the flat but full use of garden is offered.

It's also a short walk to Peckham Rye and when we lived there, we were often at Peckham Rye park with our girls.

Here are some key features of the flat:

- 3 Double Bedrooms (2 large and 1 small)

- Large Landing on Top floor - which we used as an office.

- Enormous Living Room

- Fabulous kitchen & bathroom

- Separate Utility Area outside bathroom

- Lots and lots of storage space (large basement, massive floored attic that covers entire top floor, built-in cupboards)

- Sash Windows and Modern Appliances throughout

- Larger share of 70'0" Garden and full use of Garden Shed.

PM if you would like more info.

    • Hi, I have a few filled and empty sharps bins to dispose of. My GP has filled out a form for the council and they've come to us while we were away, left two large sharps bins and no instructions. Would any of you know what to do? In the meantime I've gained another two empty sharps bins to add to my collection... Many thanks
    • I asked the same question in this forum a few months ago, as my wife wanted to learn to drive but was quite nervous after having had sessions with someone very stressful.  The recommendation we saw most often was Silvano, which she's been very happy with and who has helped her build her confidence. You can read more recommendations for him here
    • door to door selling has been around for years. It is not illegal.
    • They are not from 'rehabilitation schemes'. There are no such schemes that sell door-to-door. I have checked this myself with the probation services and been told by them that it's a scam. Trading Standards say: “Don’t deal with cold callers. Full stop. At the most innocent, they’re selling overpriced goods. At the more sinister end, they're assessing the potential for more serious crimes". It wouldn't hurt to report to the non-emergency number, 101. As Sandyman says, the police may use the information to direct future resources.
