To let / Double room in gorgeous East Dulwich house

prc

Recommended Posts

We have a lovely double furnished room 2 mins away from East Dulwich station, on Derwent Grove.

The house is very spacious, with a great garden, amazing kitchen, decking and lots of natural light throughout. We are a four-bedroom house, so you would be sharing with excellent housemates, with varied occupations from a uni lecturer, to a researcher and PhD student.

Looking to rent out to a clean, fun, and respectful non-smoker.

Room

The room comes with a bed and wardrobe. You will be sharing the bathroom with 2 of the housemates (3rd has their own ensuite), and a separate toilet downstairs.

Monthly rent

?675 + bills

Bills should be around ?100 per month in the winter, a more reduced amount in the summer time.

They include fast wifi throughout the house and a shared TV downstairs. We pay for a house cleaner once every two weeks, and a gardener comes to do the garden a few times a year (paid by the landlord).

Availability

Room is available ASAP, latest 8th May.

We will be conducting online viewings for now, but are considering allowing a brief visit with social distancing prior to moving in.

Some of the photos were taken before we moved in, slightly different furniture now, but you get the idea :) A really special place to live with lovely grown up housemates.

Hello

My name is Georgia. I'm 29years old. I have lived in ED for the last 4 years and I am looking for a new room. I'm currently living with friends until the end of April.

I work at Kings college hospital as a physiotherapist. I know at the moment that I might not be the most ideal housemate however I can make it up in baked goods. Normally I'm out and about, seeing friends, running, part of Peckham WI.

Would love to arrange a virtual tour of the house and meet you guys.

Many thanks

Georgia

    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on an hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.
    • Looking for a suit for an 11 year old. Quite specific, white with black thin stripes.  Trying to replicate Michael Jacksons smooth criminal costume.  A blue linen shirt and white tie.    Thank you !!!!!!!
    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
