Weekday/flexible double room for rent in family home ?450pcm inc bills

We have a large double room with separate shared shower room available on the top floor of our 6 bed family home. You would share the top floor with our female au pair. Our home is less than a 10min walk from Honor Oak Tube, and close to lots of green spaces like Peckham Park and Dulwich. On street parking is free.

We are looking for considerate housemates happy to live with our busy family. In return we can offer a home from home but in a house big enough to have you own space. The top floor has a fridge and kettle for convenience and the room is fully furnished with a tv. We have had a lodger for the past 1.5 years but unfortunately she has had to move out. We have three children but we mainly use the 1st floor and ground floor.

Ideally, we would let this as a weekday let only (?450pcm inc bills) but we are totally flexible with days and weekend usage. Rent price would vary accordingly.

Bit about us. Me and my husband both work in London as engineers. We spend our free time as a family visiting parks and museums etc but also used to love travel and food before family life took over. Obviously, right now, things are a bit different and the kids are at home with us most days due to school closures.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    • That is clearly not true. I see car drivers breaking the law on an hourly basis - jumping red lights, speeding, not obeying the general rules. Plus they are operating considerably more dangerous machinery and should have a greater responsibility of care to other road uses. You can see who causes the most harm by the stats.
    • Looking for a suit for an 11 year old. Quite specific, white with black thin stripes.  Trying to replicate Michael Jacksons smooth criminal costume.  A blue linen shirt and white tie.    Thank you !!!!!!!
    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔
