WAS Pussycat pushchair, NOW baby gate for dog?

He's fat (er, big boned) and it's killing me getting him to regular vet appointments.

A crappy pushchair / buggy / stroller / 4-wheel trolley would be a god send! The condition doesn't matter, as long as the frame is sound.

[Obviously it's to place the carrier on, altho I would get a perverse pleasure from strapping him in like a toddler. But he's kind of an arsehole, so it probably wouldn't end well.]

This has made my day! how about sticking him in a cardboard box (with ventilation holes obvs) and strapping it to a skateboard?

My cat is an arsehole too. Gets really car sick on the way to the vet. I have to wear an apron in the car in case it all leaks out over me. I love him really.

Great idea! Got a free skateboard? Maybe scooter would be better for my back?

Ahh, you'd think, right? One cat has arthritis in his back and is not keen on jumping (but to be fair, it's the asshole one and he has certain expectations) and the other one has brain damage meaning he can't jump (among many other things).

So yeah, not my first rodeo.

    • A quick Google found this, amongst other things: "Social impact models are frameworks or approaches that guide how organizations or initiatives address social or environmental problems."
    • "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it must be a duck" comes to mind Unfortunately, a large number of cyclists do exhibit selfish amd anti social behaviour which, regardless of how many good cyclists there are, is seen as the norm.  It's a bit like one car driver jumping a red light and all car drivers getting tarred by the same brush. Perception is the issue and if cyclists all obeyed the rules, everyone would be less anti them but unfortunately that isn't the case 🤔

    • Saying cyclists are the most antisocial people in London isn't helpful.  Nor is the Standard referring to cyclists as lycra clad louts  Yes we can have an adult conversation.  But emotive knee jerk nonsense is not going to achieve this and just plays into the hands of those wanting a manufactured culture war
