Wanted: Cutting and herbs for garden

Morning all,


The sun is shining and I am getting the garden bug..!! Recently moved from turf to patio slabs and now looking for cuttings that anyone can spare please. Not green fibgered at all, but happy to have a go.


I have a box which I would like to grow herbs in - rosemary mint, chives etc


Particularly interested in lavender, jasmine


Wouldn't mind abit of colour either!!



Everyhthing ill be grown in pots but do have a boder with earth as well.


Sunny garden with shady spots.

Hi


Chives you would have to get by dividing established plants, or else from seeds.



Rosemary you can grow from cuttings, but it's too early yet.


I had no idea you could grow mint from cuttings, but I've just found out you can :)

    • Shifting focus slightly away from Sainsburys, for anyone who may do their shopping elsewhere we also have customer donation boxes at Lidl in Peckham and the M&S by East Dulwich Station.  If anyone knows of any other store locations that might be amenable to customer collection box (who don't already have one), please let us know, or if anyone might be up for organising a collection at work, at school, at your place of worship, or any one of a long list of other places in support of Albrighton Community Fridge, and you need some support in organising it, please get in touch.  It is a daily struggle to maintain a large enough food supply at the moment, so we are incredibly grateful for all support.
