Hi there,

Has anyone recently passed their driver's test and looking to get rid of their learner's materials (up-to-date theory book, L-plates etc)? Seems a waste to buy new things when I'm sure someone in the area must've passed recently :)

I would highly recommend reading the current up to date latest Highway Code.

New rules do come out and you may be tricked.

A quick search on line however, shows that you can download a PDF version of it.

You're welcome!

I need to point out the mistake on page 95 of above book. It says motorcyclists must not wait at the traffic lights in the advanced stop lines section with the cyclists. In some boroughs and areas of England motorcyclists ARE allowed, specifically in Newham in London, where clearly some of the highways councillors must have been motorcyclists themselves ;)

    • You can request for them to come and collect your full bins again https://forms.southwark.gov.uk/ShowForm.asp?fm_fid=1879 They usually come on whatever day your rubbish/recycling collection day is. If you aren't going to be in, leave them somewhere that they can find it. If you don't need replacements, just leave a note on the full ones that a replacement isn't needed.  They usually come quite early, so it's better to leave them outside if you can.
