Candy - it's inadvisable to advertise a cat on the internet because anyone who sees your advert can respond and you won't know anything about that person or what they're going to do with the cat - they could want it as bait for training a fighting dog for all you know. Have you tried the animal charities listed above by ED bird. They will visit potential homes to check that people are genuine and that the home is the right one to suit that particular cat. I recommend that you contact Croydon Animal Samaritans [www.croydonanimalsamaritans.co.uk
Their email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Rescue charities will foster a cat first to get to know its character so that it can be placed in a home which suits it, but they don't always have a foster home available as they're often full with rescued animals. I'm sure they will help you but if you have any problem, I know the local cat rescuer for Croydon Animal Samaritans, so can phone her for you if you send me a private message on here to give me your contact details, so that she can get in touch with you. Please let us know on here how you get on, as I'm sure all the cat lovers on the forum will be concerned to see that this cat goes to a safe and loving home.
