NO LONGER NEEDED - Farrow and Ball Cornforth White Estate Emulsion

First world problems and a middle class tragedy...

We have run out of Cornforth white estate emulsion paint agonisingly short of finishing. The smallest F&B tins available in the shops are 2.5 litres, but we only need about 0.5 litres. Don't suppose anyone has half a litre or so they can spare?

I am aware of how painfully middle class this is and can offer up no defence or mitigation, except that I like the colour.

Thanks in advance for any offer of help, solidarity or even the right paint.

Trouble is testers are about ?5 a pop and we probably need four to six of them. Think we will get a cheapish colour match paint to finish base coats and a couple of testers to roller over the areas that are almist finished. Of course, had we realised we would be fractionally short, we'd have bought some colour match paint as well before starting.

Like i said, first world middle class problems.

Thanks anyway - appreciate the responses. Tge wanted zone sometimes has tumbleweed...

Places which mix paint can copy Farrow and Ball colours onto a cheaper base

There's a place near here which I can't remember because it's late which can do that.

If I don't remember to look it up and post it on here PDQ, feel free to chase me :))

ETA: Is that what you mean by colour match paint? DUH :))

Thanks everyone, and especially to the very generous person who offered some F&B modern emulsion (slightly different but might have worked). In the end, we worked out that with a colour-match plus one or two sample pots for retouching, we might as well bite the bullet and buy a tin of the estate emulsion. If we had been starting from scratch, we would have bought a Leyland colour match from London Decorators Merchants in West Norwood (from my online searches, Leyland seem to be the closest to F&B and we have used them before and found them ok), used that as a base coat, then used the expensive F&B for a top coat. That way you get the nice F&B finish but use a cheaper and stronger paint underneath.

You live and learn - though to be honest, this isn't the first time I have made this kind of miscalculation, so I seem to be a slow learner.

As for Whites in SE23, I know they don't (or didn't) do Leyland paints, otherwise I would have gone there for a colour match. But when I've been in there have often been tradespeople picking up F&B colour matches so presumably they work reasonably well too, whichever brand they are using.

That's some obscure humour btw

I make sure that they get plenty of doggie interaction and socialisation in the park as well as making friends. Back home happy and tired I always check that the water bowl has fresh water and always make sure the doggie is left comfortable before I leave. I'm fully insured and have a couple of slots available for local walks to either Peckham Rye Park or Dulwich Park.  Thank you!
    • Why would they only send them recorded delivery? I used the signed for option yesterday.
