Recommendations on local nurseries needed / views on Ruskin House

I'm moving to the area at the end of June and need to find a place for my soon-to-be 1 year old daughter. I viewed Ruskin House in Herne Hill yesterday but wasn't sure about it. There are some negative comments on mumsnet that were posted a few years ago but does anyone have a recent opinion on it, please? It's terrifying thinking of leaving her anywhere so it has to be perfect! If not Ruskin House can you recommend anywhere decent? Any help appreciated, thanks!

OP has not read my pm recommending a childminder friend of mine. She is on Denmark Hill, 5 mins walk from Ruskin House and has a vacancy from June.

I recommend Rainbow Smiles nursery on Rosendale Road, West Dulwich. Lovely staff and both daughters been very happy there.
