What is a reasonable charge per hour for someone to tutor a year 5 pupil in English and maths?

30 per hour if a trained teacher.

Before moving to Dulwich I had a private tutor for both my sons who went on to gain a scholarship to a leading Public School. This was 10 years ago, outside of London & I paid 50 ph
The level of experience dictates the hourly cost. A young inexperienced tutor could charge as little as 30 ph however this goes up with experience and ability.
I think now 60 plus an hour is acceptable for an experienced & able tutor with proven results
