messagewater damage and damp survey
Posted by Chirpie 27 February, 2013 09:39

We have recently bought a house which has been water damaged by a leak in the loft 12 months ago. There is quite a lot of black mould in a number of the rooms and also mould on most of the rafters in the loft and the floor joists. We are stripping the walls back to the brick where the damage is greatest and also removing all of the plasterboard ceilings and walls which have been damaged. As well as the water damage there is some evidence of damp in some of the external walls which was shown up on a survey we had prior to the leak.

We are looking for a company who can provide a damp survey and who will also be able to advise on the water damage. If anyone has any recommendations for us then please do let me know!
