Brian's work is superb - I would totally recommend him - he sets himself a very high standard and takes pride in achieving it. The photos don't do his work justice - he is totally professional producing very high quality work.

Brian and his team have done extensive decorating and plastering work for us over the years. On our old flat he carried out major re-plastering and redecorating work internally and major external refurbishment. They work to a very high-standard and Brian was always reliable, easy to work with and professional. I would highly recommend Brian for any minor to major decorating, repairing and painting job - great to work with a friendly local professional with many years experience.

I want to add another recommendation for the brilliant Brian and his expert team. They have just finished painting and restoring my first floor windows, and let me tell you, they have done a great job. The sash window frames were completely rotten having been neglected for years. I thought it was a hopeless case and might need to be replaced - but Brian and his team rebuilt them with precision, skill and hard work. We are now the pride of the street, with many neighbours asking for Brian's number.

I should also add that Brian's prices are highly completive and is one of the only decorators that can work without the nuisance of expensive and unsightly scaffolding. Brian and his colleagues are friendly, trustworthy and very clean. The first job they did was protect the carpets. I left the house keys with Brian whilst we were away and felt the property was in safe hands.

Brian and his team have just finished painting the front of my house and the communal hallway. They did an excellent job. They did the whole thing without scaffolding, repairing crumbling window sills and finishing everything to a very high standard. Brian and his team were reliable, thorough, friendly and very competitive. Would thoroughly recommend him again.

Brian and Malachy did a really good job of painting the courtyard in my front yard. It was a really tricky job that involved complicated dismantling and painting, I had loads of people come round and promise the earth but when it came to it they either couldn't commit or thought it was too difficult. Brisn did it very professionally and worked with my demanding requests without complaint. The paint work is great as you'd expect from pros but it was the trust that I liked most, they had a key to my house and were totally trustworthy which allowed them to get on with job without me having to worry. Started bang on 8am every day and worked right through until the job complete. Brian has a great team and constantly made sure his they were doing what was expected. You get what you pay for and there was no messing around just a good solid job that I'm really pleased with. Nice guys to work with, fun, friendly, trustworthy and respecting. Brian and his team did a great job on my flat. What I appreciated the most is that he was accommodating to my budget and time frame and worked like a 'force of nature' to get the job done.

Throughout the process he was very professional and communicative and simply, got the job done, and did it well. Above all when he finished he left the flat cleaner than they found it.

Please see attached before , during and after pictures of some work I have recently completed restoring Victorian cast iron.

Malachy worked straight through a weekend to complete a job in my flat in time for the annual inspection. Despite the irritation of having me lounge around be-moaning ill health all weekend and giving a passable performance of an early demise from the sofa, he cracked on and completed an outstanding job - AND I felt totally able to leave him alone in the flat when I left for work on the Monday - utterly trustworthy and I would have no hesitation in either recommending these guys on the basis of their fine work, great attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.

Brian is passionate about what he does and did a great job of repainting our tired kitchen, including the old sash window. He also came up and executed really well the right solution for tidying up some ugly skirting and protruding pipework. He's friendly and would put anyone I can think of at ease. I would highly recommend Brian for your painting and decorating work.

Brian has done another brilliant job on my house, this time at the back. It's a tall, four storey Victorian house, and a tricky one to paint, however Brian and his team have made it the best house on the street with the quality of their workmanship and professionalism. I cannot recommend Brian highly enough if you want attention to detail and the best results. Brian cares about his work, and returns to touch things up if something is not quite right.

Another recommendation for Advanced Painters of Dulwich. Contacted Brian at Advanced Painters of Dulwich based on reviews from this forum and really glad we did. His team repainted our hallway top to bottom, replastered a wall where a crack had appeared, repainted most of our bathroom and even spruced up some of the grouting to make everything look much neater. Everything was done to a very high quality finish, Brian was responsive to communications, the work area was kept tidy throughout and we're really happy with the outcome.

We have just used Advanced Painters for the second time, having been impressed with their first painting job, at our house. Brian is a 'rare breed', as he is polite, communicative, does what he says he's going to do, respects our home, and his work is finished to an excellent standard and for a very fair price! He takes pride in his business and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He has just completed painting the outside of our house, in quite challenging weather, and has again finished the work to a high standard. We are happy to recommend him and will certainly be asking him back to work on another room in our home.

Brian and his team have just completed repairs and redecoration after my sitting room was flooded. They did a great job, excellent workmanship executed with care and courtesy. Brian and his team have just finished renovating the entire front of house. They did an amazing job basically fixing a major doer upper. I wanted the finish to be perfect for when my parents see the house and he didn't let me down - attention to detail was flawless. Scoped the job patiently (showing videos and photos of his work) and was very understanding of the special demands of this job. Brian always makes himself available to chat through where things are at and was the best communicator tradesman I've come across yet.Brian has worked with Malachy and his team for years which gives you the peace of mind leaving them the keys. Finished the job on time, were polite to my fiance and neighbours, kept the place clean at the end of every day and I'm very happy to recommend Brian and his team (in fact he's scoping some other work for me now).

Brian and his team, really are wonderful, do a great job, and are so respectful, and polite. Will go out of their way to make sure the job is done well and that you are happy. It is refreshing to have good, honest and reliable tradesmen who do what they say they are going to,,and a bit more too. They've just finished our spare room, which needed quite a bit of TLC, and repair work to blown plaster. All done and looks lovely. And all for a fair price for how much attention to detail they spend.

Brian and his team have just decorated the whole of the outside of our house and the results are stunning. Their attention to detail is amazing: edges of render built up so they are crisp, new mortar around the windows and an excellent finish. The house hasn't had this much attention for 100 years! Malachi and Glen are great guys, courteous, careful and trustworthy.

Another review for Brian. He is without doubt my go to person now for doing up or fixing the house. For this job, he replaced the old glass above in the door and installed a new chrome step plate, lock, handles etc and arranged for a carpenter to rebuild the door and finish with a nice roller finish. Totally transformed it. Always thinking of ways to minimise inconvenience - on this one they kept the barrel of the lock so we could all come in and out without getting the keys changed. Happy to recommend Brian.

Brian has just finished work at our flat for the second time. He is dedicated, proud of his work, very clean and tidy and easy to deal with. Not only did they paint but provided a carpenter to do some extra work too. He takes care of everything you request and is trustworthy, careful and has great attention to detail!

My house has just been painted by Brian and his team. It hadn't been touched for at least 7 years. It now looks amazing and I'm delighted with the job they did. Right from the start they were courteous, punctual and tidy. They took care to move plant boxes and Bay Trees that would have been damaged by the painting. This was not part of their brief but it was no trouble for them to do so. Due to my kitchen extension some of the rear windows were not easy to access but they managed to do so very efficiently. Brian and his team have done another great job in our house. Having decorated our loft extension last year we invited them back to do our living room and kitchen and they have again done a fantastic job. They have been very thorough and got the job done very quickly while working around a busy family. Thanks to the team and we would again definitely recommend them to others. I've just had Brian and co sort out a leak stain on the stairwell ceiling. Very efficient, polite, good communication and a good job well done. He even sent me a video of the work done as I wasn't able to see it myself. Recommended.

Brian has just done his second job for us, painting a new loft room and all down the stairs. The builders had left lots of damaged and uneven surfaces which have all disappeared. The finish is superb - the colour on the walls really glows! Thanks to Malachi for all his hard work and care.

Brian came and quoted mid August, by the end of August he had a team lined up to kick off and complete the work we needed in a weekend. All the team were professional and polite, delivered a great job and will certainly using them for further jobs, highly recommended.

After over 10 years of letting my flat, I recently moved back in - and the whole place needed a redecoration. Advanced Painters did the entire interior and parts of the outside including the garden wall, repairing and restoring the pretty rotten meter boxes etc. It's a Victorian terrace and the whole of the outside will need doing for the next project (that's a little while away though Brian!)

Various bits like the outside work, fixign up the old fireplace, were added to the scope as we went along and this was all accomodated.

Malachi did most of the work, with a couple of others particularly for the outside work occasionally. It's a first rate job which has completely revitalised the flat. The finish is great and they even came back without complaint to touch up a couple of places where I damaged the paint moving furniture around afterwards.

I was quite happy leaving them the keys and letting them come and go and get on with it. I lived in the flat throughout and the work was carried out around me.

Proof that it was a good job was provided when my usually highly critical fiancee took a look after the work was completed, and declared it to be excellent. That's rare praise!
