It's OK. Australians can't help it. Bragging about Oz appears to be some sort of involuntary reflex action.

Either a custard bream or Cod-nobs.

DO you know what, I totally agree. Hence am very dissapointed in myself, as I've been here long enough to cringe at other aussies, and mock them for being so ozcentric about everything. Australians who have never lived outside of Australia are the worst.

anyway. we're waaaaaay off topic.....Saucy...cant wait....

The place is still a building site with the floor still to be installed. (work in progress) and no ceilings
or lighting.

It was sad to see the institution that was Curry Cabin go. My family were frequent customers there from the day we moved to East Dulwich in 1988.

Hopefully Saucy Chips can add something new to the Lordship Lane eating experience that can build similar levels of loyalty that the Curry Cabin enjoyed.

Very best of luck!

Looking forward to welcoming a great new local brunch venue to the lane, and kudos on the acclaimed head chef! I'm in speciality coffee so shout if you need any help. Good luck! Darren

This is the website for the OP's catering business, not the restaurant. See the original post:

We're launching an independent, family positioned sit down/waiter service restaurant experience called "Saucy", not to be confused with my events catering business, Saucy Chip which focusses on brilliant loaded chips which we serve up and down the country at various festivals and events.

It looks open, but a bit empty / unfinished. Is it a bar, or restaurant?

It was open on Saturday during the Christmas fair. At least they were selling trees outside and I saw some punters inside
