If you live locally you will probably know us.....

We are a busy, long-established, ethical catering and events company on Barry Road looking for a strong, hard working kitchen porter to join our team.

Hours will vary across the week (it is catering after all) but we do try to offer a sensible work life balance via a rota system. Contract will be zero hours and a good hourly rate offered.

Its not always night shifts or weekends but will be sometimes.

The job includes some lifting, washing up, loading and unloading of vans, laundry, cleaning of equipment etc.

Training will be given if this is all new to you.

Lunch is included - and its always good!

If you can drive it would be ideal.

Age and gender is immaterial, its all about ability and willingness to work in this job.

We really like to employ local people so if you are interested then please get in touch to organise a face-to-face interview and a trail shift.

Many thanks for reading

Suzanne

    • I'm posting this here as well as the Tradespersons forum as I urgently need an electrician. I've lost all power in my house. Please can someone recommend an emergency electrician who won't rip me off! Thanks

    • I agree with Head Nun. My experience is very similar and has been so for the 25 years I've lived in London. They got a lot worse after the Tour de France came here though. And then the Olympics.
    • You can request for them to come and collect your full bins again https://forms.southwark.gov.uk/ShowForm.asp?fm_fid=1879 They usually come on whatever day your rubbish/recycling collection day is. If you aren't going to be in, leave them somewhere that they can find it. If you don't need replacements, just leave a note on the full ones that a replacement isn't needed.  They usually come quite early, so it's better to leave them outside if you can.
