Car Mechanic

So I took my car for service and mot to a main brand garage in Dulwich,,in Sept and advised front brake disc and pads need changing had them done independently to save costs then was advised by samec mechanic my back brake pads need changing , but did not get the works done with him as he is on sick leave.. so decided to go back for another opinion to the original main brand garage I had the services following works on my front brakes done in October they advised after one of the mechanics checking I need my front and back brakes changing.??

So I would like a really good mechanic recommendation please....

Did you find a good mechanic? Or have ant recommendations you could share? Even details of which ones to stay away from would be helpful to kmow.
