Hi Looking for an all purpose handyman fairly urgently to do a couple of things around our flat in Herne Hill (Norwood Road). Bathroom i. New floor tiling ii. Attach hand towel rail iii. Grouting repair work around bath iv. Paint bathroom vanity cupboard Living room - skirting board repair. Kitchen i. Sink leak repair ii.   Called them to rewire a fire alarm. They asked for a photo which I have sent as well as details of a spotlight that needed changing, I have no reply from them since even though I have sent WhatsApp messages trying to understand what the issue is.

  Are your neighbours also smelling it? If not, I had a similar issue years ago and found it was down to an emersion heater element failing and putting strain on the wiring, which had to be replaced. Hopefully you can track it down.

  Has anyone else been woken up by an acrid smoky smell in the early hours around CPR/Darrell Road? Has happened a couple of times in the past month, most recently this morning.
