Hi all, If you are looking for a cleaner, I can highly recommend Beverly who has been cleaning my home. She is thorough, reliable, no job too small ( she helped me fix a curtain rail, dangerously dangling.. with me wobbling up a ladder )As well as the usual house cleaning, she offered to clean my oven and fridge. She is a real miracle worker! She says she cleans my home as though it were her own. I thoroughly recommend Beverley on 07956 925 119. You'll be lucky to have her. Alexa.

Hi Alexa,

For how long has Beverly been cleaning for you? Can you give me a bit more detail as a reference?

Many thanks!

Corinne

I contacted Beverly and had a text conversation. All went well, and she was agreeable to the 2.5hrs a week I was asking for, until I asked for references then she closed me down very suddenly stating that her minimum clean was 3hourly and she couldn't meet me. Disappointing and frustrating.

If you really need a cleaner you should concentrate on the service and what you need and want because for small money you pay for amazingly hard work that takes lot of time to organise you cannot expect professional cleaners to waste hours in phone calls and chats or email messages just to give you emotional reassurances you are choosing the right person for the job.

We cannot share personal details of other clients - that you may do not know but is an illegal practice unless people give their consent.

I never disclose names and phones or email of other clients if you do not at least reciprocate disclosing your details at first. As a personal policy, I provide reference if you book services for a minimum amount of 60£ and after you pay the deposit of £20 and disclose who you are.

In some circumstances I am tempted to say to people that ask for references for a 2 hours cleaning job without giving not even their telephone number they should do themselves their cleanings and call a psychotherapist instead (and indeed they should be concerned to ask extended references in this case!)

Best wishes
