I'd like to highly recommend the wonderful Andy Burke as a fantastic plumber -- we had an urgent plumbing issue this weekend and I texted him on Saturday to ask if he could come round urgently on Monday to fix it. He replied immediately saying he could make it on Sunday! Brilliant for us, such a relief. He turned up bang on time, assessed our plumbing problem instantly and accurately, and sorted the issue with minimum fuss and absolute confidence, despite it being rather a more complex issue than we'd originally thought. He provides peace of mind, great service, and his prices are also extremely reasonable. Knowledgeable, efficient and a delight to work with.

  Called them to rewire a fire alarm. They asked for a photo which I have sent as well as details of a spotlight that needed changing, I have no reply from them since even though I have sent WhatsApp messages trying to understand what the issue is.

  Are your neighbours also smelling it? If not, I had a similar issue years ago and found it was down to an emersion heater element failing and putting strain on the wiring, which had to be replaced. Hopefully you can track it down.
