Help please! Advice and/or recommendations

Hi all

I'd appreciate your help please.

We have a utility room in our ground floor. The floor is covered with tiles and the internal manhole cover which provides access to the drain/sewer below is also covered over with tiles.

We need to get access to the manhole asap as we have been experiencing foul smells from the drain and we have drain flies. I'm also worried that vermin has entered the wall/ceiling.

The guy from the drain company accessed the drain from the back garden but said he needs to access from that particular area in the utility room (towards the front of the house) as he thinks there has been damage. He said a hatch/hinged recessed internal manhole cover should have been fitted to allow access and we need to get one fitted.

I'd like to know if anyone has had something like this done in their house? Whether anyone can recommend someone who can do this? Whether any tradesmen have experience of doing this and can quote/provide references?

I've attached 1. a photo of the area in our house and 2. a photo of what we need.

Thank you in advance for your help.
