Finance Executive needed

Just After Midnight are one of the most well respected 24/7 application support teams in the industry. We are the go-to support partner for protecting digital revenue and reputation, through cloud hosting services and DevOps design and implementation.


We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our finance team and assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. This is a part-time role that reports to our Head of Finance. It?s perfect for someone who is experienced and enjoys getting involved, but is looking for a flexible role that allows for a great work-life balance. This is an opportunity to join one of the most exciting and fast growing technology businesses in London and work with a very exciting client base.


Key Responsibilities Include:

Credit control

Billing ? Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments

Expenses

Reconciliations

Re-sale management

Other administrative tasks around customers and suppliers


About you

We want you as you are ? inquisitive, proactive and eager to do your part for a team that will always have your back, with the drive and focus to work independently as needed. Experience in small business finance and a good understanding of business would be desirable. We?d love you to join us if you are:


Highly organised

A detail orientated person

Inquisitive

Commercially aware

Experienced in using Xero or similar online tool useful

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Experienced working on small business finance

We are initially looking for someone on a part-time basis (2/3 days a week), however this is negotiable.

    • Hello, I was carrying my sleeping toddler on Sunday afternoon (21st April) and must have been pretty distracted and dropped my jumper from my bag. Iwas walking from Crystal Palace and then getting the 363 to The Gardens near Peckham Rye Park. Somewhere I seemed to have lost my favourite green jumper - is bright green, cashmere, from John Lewis, in case anyone spots it. Thank you! (Have phoned the bus garage too).
    • And what would you suggest for cyclists that also flout the rules?  Crush their bikes at the same facility that crushes errant drivers cars ?  Same rules and punishment must  apply to all road users (except runaway horses of course) 
    • I'm looking for a guitar teacher for my 17 year old son. In terms of music that he likes, he says he's interested in learning fingerpicking (although I guess he needs to learn the basics first!). He listens to quite a lot of acoustic guitar stuff as well as indie stuff, has a curious interest in Japanese pop and loves folk too. Ideally we would be looking for someone who could do one-to-one lessons at my flat, which is 5 minutes walk from Honor Oak tube station.
