Gas Hob Igniter

Recommended Posts

I have a Baumatic Gas Hob which will not stop sparking. I think the igniter may need to be replaced on at least one ring and am looking for info on electricians / other who could carry this out.

Thanks,

Alan

Like Steve say.. It has probably got wet.

I had this problem with an old hob.

When I cleaned it, some water sometimes got into one of the control pots..

I found removing the control knob and using a hair dryer to dry the water worked..

Or else wait for it to dry out.
