Our lovely cat Leo is still lost :(

He has been missing since Friday 7th December from Surrey Road/ Cheltenham Road, SE15.

He is completely black with green eyes. No collar, but microchipped and neutered.

We'd be grateful if you could keep an eye out for him.

If you see him, please contact me: 07856 079 497

Thank you.

Thanks so much for keeping an eye out for him.

He is completely black, short haired with green eyes and quite small. He doesn't really have any other identifying features (photo of him attached in earlier post).

Hopefully we can find him soon. We really miss him.

If you think you might have seen him or have any info, please get in touch: 07856 079 497

Thank you

Hi, I am a dog walker and pet sitter and I may have seen your cat this week near 18 - 20 surrey road he darted into a garden when I approached I cannot be positive this is your cat but he was definitely black and looked very like him although I never got close enough to see if it was male or female.

I hope that this is your cat and he returns home very soon.

Hi Michelle, thanks for letting me know - that sounds very much like it could be him. We're just at the other end of Surrey Road. He doesn't usually go out the front, so maybe he just went a little too far and can't find his way back. We'll check around there and surrounding areas again this morning. Thanks again for your help.

We also see a black one in the garden behind 19/ 19a (our side of the road) usually there every morning sitting on the fence. Haven't see for a few days though. Wondered if yours ever headed that far - but doesn't sound like it from what you've said - unless he uses the cat 'superhighway' along the back walls this side of the road?

Thanks HP, he does venture that way along the back fences so it could have been him... Sadly he's still missing 😢 There have been a few possible sightings over the weekend, but we haven't found him yet. Please do get in touch if you see him. Many thanks.

Hi, on my way to work and just seen a cat like yours looking lost on Burbage Rd just after the Gp surgery. There is a cat that's similar and hangs outside gp but it's not him so may be yours? It's a bit far away but they can travel far in 2 weeks. Good luck, hope you find him.

    • try amazon (it seems to have it there) or a local dry cleaner shop or call a really good dry cleaners and see if they can recommend anything
    • Goddard’s don’t make this anymore and my 80-year old mum has asked for it as her only birthday present. Even a half-full leftover tin would be much appreciated and I’m happy to pay over the odds. Thanks!
    • It's been the norm all my life. Born and bred in working class south London and a teenager in the 80's. I'd say the streets are slightly safer now than they were back then. I've lived in Brixton, Clapham and Peckham for over 50 year, being mugged at some point was deemed a passage of rites and inevitable. It's shit that it happens at all but wasn't aware it's become the norm recently. Sadly a lot of youth trodding the wrong path are involved with gangs that supply weed and heavier stuff so they are making money. Another thing i can assure is that the people putting their money into huge consignments of coke and heroin that destroy lives and blight our communities aren't single parents from council estates nor dropouts.   I do voluntary work with life's young strays which include both current and reforming gang members. Many are roped in from a young age and join because of fear and peer pressure. It's certainly not a choice for many. You're lazy, tabloid style stereotyping is just way too simplistic.
    • Earl have you noticed how many bus lanes have been turned into cycle lanes….take a walk across any one of London’s bridges over the Thames and see how the bus lanes have been turned into cycle lanes and buses now sit in traffic with all of the other vehicles and TFL has said that bus journey times have slowed across London, although they have blamed roadworks for the delays.   Angelina, the National Travel Survey showed that London modal share is declining for cycles due to people returning to buses and tubes (I believe bus use had increased by 59% and was heading back to pre-Covid levels) there was a thread on it in October (National Travel Survey and cycling policy in London)
