An update - Definitely a boy but sadly he is not chipped. Vet says he is very healthy looking and definitely not a stray. Someone must be missing their lovely boy.

I have had a lovely, friendly, affectionate cat hanging around for the last week in my garden. Sleeping in garden through the day and night. I don't think it is a stray as clearly has been fed and in good condition, but has been opportunist and taken food from my kitchen.....door open in warm weather! Friendly with children and visitors. I'm afraid I am not sure if it's a male or female. All black except for a patch of white on chest. This isn't the first time it's visited, but it is the longest. First hung around last year in October, then this year in February, March, May, June and August. All previous times it was just a visit then gone. This time it isn't leaving. I am eager to find the owner. I can send more photos via email if requested. For geographic purposes, I am on Trossachs Road, SE22.

Please don't tell me it's chosen me, I had a cat for 15 years before he passed July last year, I am simply not in the position to take another on as travel regularly to care for elderly mother. I am also not ready to be 'owned' just yet either!

    • You can request for them to come and collect your full bins again https://forms.southwark.gov.uk/ShowForm.asp?fm_fid=1879 They usually come on whatever day your rubbish/recycling collection day is. If you aren't going to be in, leave them somewhere that they can find it. If you don't need replacements, just leave a note on the full ones that a replacement isn't needed.  They usually come quite early, so it's better to leave them outside if you can.
