message[SOLVED] Possible Stray Catattachment
Posted by ben_is_at_home May 17, 08:37PM

Hi everyone,

There's a young female cat that's been visiting our garden for a few days now, she's been sleeping under a bench fairly regularly. She has quite a few old scratches on her face and was in a stand off with another cat when I first saw her. She's apprehensive about being approached refuses to be touched. I've started leaving some water out that she drinks daily.

If anyone owns/knows the owner of this cat please contact me just so I can be sure that she is alright.

Best wishes,

Ben.

Hi can you put a paper collar on her? Check out the Cats Protection League website for ones you can print off. They or another rescue might be able to bring a scanner to check for a microchip.

Thanks for the advice, I've printed one and will try to put one on next time I see her.

Isnít that cat a Bengal? She might very well be microchipped...

Yes! That's a Bengal or a Bengal tabby mix at least!

At a glance I thought this might have been one of my clients', but it is not, & he's a male.

If you can't take him in to The Neighbourhood Vets to get scanned for ID {I know they're very busy right now},
perhaps giving them a call or email to find out if they have any missing female Bengals on record?

Kindest,
Heather {The Wingless Bird}
