All the staff in M&S are lovely, in my experience.

Despite yes: politeness is a preferred state within the community - many disabilities are hidden and perhaps there was additional issues going on.

Dementia, Autism just to name two often mean supermarkets can be hella scary and just the need to get something to eat can be terrifying.

I know it can be uncomfortable to witness, but all is often not what it seems, and in this light we all need as much compassion as we can muster on a day to day basis.

So does that mean we have to put up with people shoving pushing screaming shouting thieving bullying and generally exhibiting appalling behaviour no matter their age - because there might be something wrong with them? Those who have nothing wrong with them except poor upbringing - or indeed great upbringing and a sense of entitlement which they find they don't now have - will realise they can continue behaving like that unchallenged. No thanks!
