POWER CUT ALERT! This is UK Power Networks. We're alerting you about a potential unplanned power cut at your local substation, affecting approximately 1/3 of customers whose power is fed from here. If your power is not off, you are not currently affected by this outage. If your electricity is off, you can keep updated on our live fault map at http://www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/power-cut/map?incidentid=INCD-204929-J or call us on 105, our reference is INCD-204929-J.

  A raptor shot into my back garden for a wood pigeon, which managed to get away before it was grabbed. It was very fast and the hawk was smaller than I’d thought it would be, with mid- and dark-brown feathers. Kite?
