There is a cat outside my house and it looks injured. Looks like a car has run over its foot. Can anyone recommend how I can help? Apologies for the question, I don't have any pets so I have no idea, but want to help the poor thing.
Thanks we managed to contact the RSPCA emergency helpline and they are coming. Its a black and white cat missing an eye, just in case anyone recognises the cat.
Well done for taking the trouble, lots wouldn't. If you can, just as with humans, if you could get a blanket over the poor thing and keep it warm until help arrives that might be useful.

If this is the Gordon I know of and who has been around for a long time in the Landells Road area, I'm very sorry to hear of his accident and wish him a speedy recovery. He is quite a character.
Yes that is Gordon. I've just looked on Facebook and seen the lovely photo of him. No update on his injuries yet. He is alive but his back legs are damaged. Thank you to all who communicated and for contacting the RSPCA. We are very grateful to you all. Gordon is a well loved cat residing in Landells Road.

Sadly Gordon has died from his injuries. Thank you to everyone for your good wishes and help. We will miss him very much and he is now patrolling the streets of heaven. Xx
