nikki.s Posted August 4, 2019 Share Posted August 4, 2019 Hi all, We were burgled on Friday so just wanted to remind people to be super careful with windows being open in this weather as we think that?s how they got in. We were very lucky not to have lost more - in fact we didn?t even notice for a couple of days. They just snatched things they could lay theirs hands on easily and shove in a bag (jewellery which was thankfully just costume, a couple of iPads which were old and smashed anyway, a mini Bluetooth speaker etc). To be honest the thought of someone rooting around all our things while we weren?t at home was almost as bad as losing the things themselves (we have reported to police etc.).We are near goose green so just a reminder to everyone to be careful as there are clearly opportunists out there!
