Just saw this lovely fella on Peckham Rye. I have identified him as an egyptian goose. Is he a local? he looked a bit dazed and lost.

They've been in Peckham Rye Park for a couple of years, usually spotted by the pond.

Last year there was a pair of them in PRP and they successfully raised 6 goslings.

The pair were by the pond yesterday, hopefully more goslings soon.

Also spotted the heron in it's usual position at edge of pond.
