Tessa Jowell centre - blood tests

Recommended Posts

So after schlepping to Kings for a blood test only to find they're operating reduced hours and I'd missed them (not complaining, shortage of staff, I get it), I thought I'd try the new TJ Centre next week.

Does anyone know if they are operating at the full advertised hours for blood tests and any sense of how busy first thing in morning?

That was a quick breakdown of equipment!

How disappointing but not unexpected. There?s nobody who?ll take control so it?ll take ages to fix. The same is seen at Tube stations where neon tubes lighting up the name of the station fail and are not replaced, because the staff don?t feel it?s any of their responsibility.

Did you not read the previous post. It was working again. Very quick to criticise without knowing all the facts. If you ever have need to visit the new health centre you will see it is very well designed and laid out. While I can't comment on the GP surgery that operates in part of the building the rest appears well managed.

I?m pleased if it?s fixed. I?m also surprised because I?ve noticed plenty of abandoned projects and unfixed problems across a range of council or government-run bodies. Have a look at your local street/station/hospital/park/bus stop and report anything that?s not working. You?ve got a keen eye for detail and righting wrongs, after all!

I had blood tests at King's (the main site in Denmark Hill) recently whilst there for something else, and there was quite a short wait (on a weekday around 3pm).

However obviously Dulwich is more convenient normally.
