I was over the park around 5.45pm and a helicopter was circulating and then landed. Police cars where seen also. Does anyone know what was going on?

Hello all.
My neighbour in Barry road went round her friends
House and he had a heart attack she had to give CPR
Until the paramedics and air ambulance arrived
She has keys for his home as she feeds his cat for him when he isn't there..

Thanks for the info Tedfudge. How awful. It must have been so scary for your friend. I hope your neighbour's friend is okay and will make a full recovery...

Yeah, rumours can spread so quickly. It reminds me when there had been a not very serious collision in LL which caused the road to close. Word quickly got round it was due to terrorism

Hello all
Update on what happend.
My neighbour told my wife this
Morning that her friend had died
At 2am this morning it was not a heart attack
But a brain hemorrhage.

It was my neighbour who was giving CPR to her friend and calling for paramedics..

Just wondering if you checked with any family members if they were happy with these details being posted on a Public forum?
I know I wouldn't want this information shared about any close family member of mine.
I understand that people want their curiosity satisfied when things happen like helicopters landing in a park, but this is nearly always the air ambulance and that doesn't really mean that everyone has the right to know medical details about someone's death.

Did I give the persons name or address ???
NO finaly the person in question does not have any family .. so what's the problem ?

No big problem, but just a thought that sometimes personal information shouldn't be shared on a public forum.
As you say the person you are posting about has no family so we don't know their views about privacy and maybe if someone has no family/ person to represent them, then it's fairer to be respectful and leave well alone rather than share what information you have with anyone who happens to logon to EDF.
