That's this Thursday under Peckham Arch. It's run and manned by Southwark Cyclists and we fund it ourselves. There's profession mechanic plus volunteers and between them they can fix most things. They carry small parts like cables but not bigger ones like brake pads or wheels -- so if you know or suspect you need those, bring them with you.
They will be under the Arch (see pic) which is at the south end of Surrey Canal Path or the north end of Rye Lane depending on how you want to think about it. It's free and open to all like everything we do. The guys will fix what they can and give wise advice. It's generally on the lines of "you need to clean this chain" and how to check your tyres for glass and flints BEFORE they work their way through to the inner.
If you want to learn how to do this stuff yourself then we also do a bike maintenance and tuition session twice a month at the Lettsom TRA hall in Vestry Road. This is run by Bruno and the next one is on the 16th, details here: [southwarkcyclists.org.uk
