This ride is Dulwich Park to Ladywell Fields (and back). It's two hours of easy-paced, quiet, backstreet and off-road cycling suitable for all types of cyclists (except probably those wearing heartbeat monitors). It starts and ends at, probably in, Dulwich Clock Cafe in Dulwich Park SE 21 7BQ

There will be a bit of up and down, I'm promised it won't be too heroic, through two parks, four cemeteries, and two "fields". All stages of life will be contemplated. Riders will be glad to know that from Dulwich Park they will go down Peckham Rye Park, then through Nunhead Cemetery.

Backstreets (very quiet) take the group over the railway to Brockley and to Ladywell Cemetery. Then up to the top of Hilly Fields and a chance to admire the view back to central London. From Hilly Fields down to Ladywell Fields and along National Route 21 towards Catford. The turn for home comes a bit before Catford Bridge Station with crossing back across the railway in Eddystone Road, through Camberwell New Cemetery and along Brenchley Gardens to Camberwell Old Cemetery. Finally Underhill Rd, across Lordship Lane and through estate roads to Dulwich Park.

Cemeteries make excellent cycle routes ? nice paved paths and few pedestrians. Overall a lot of the ride is off road, plenty quiet streets, a few busy intersections. Route here at
