Beyond the living room

Would your child be up for experiencing performing on a real music stage (with mics, professional sound engineering and a proper speaker array) in total privacy or with a small family audience of their choosing? Absolutely no experience necessary!

We offer free beginner sessions for young people ages 4-17 who want to try out performing ?beyond the living room?.

Next session - Sun 10 November 1pm at Off The Cuff Music Bar SE24

To book contact - [email protected]

To support their performance, on hand we have 8 professional vocal mics, 4 instrumental mics, full size Roland keyboard, electric, bass and acoustic guitar amps, vintage 70s house drum kit (mic?d up), backing tracks, vocal/instrumental effects and professional sound engineer.

We are JOM - a community group who organise free music events for young people ages 4-17. We try to make young performers feel as special as possible and believe confidence and pleasure of performance are the key factors in progressing skill. All our formatting reflects this. We organise...

JOM Beyond The Living Room - beginner performance on a real music stage in private

JOM Junior Open Mic Sessions - the largest junior open mic in the country - 14-28 acts per session and an audience of 80-100. Superb sound support.

JOM Micro Music Festivals - in Brockwell Park. 32 junior acts using festival quality sound engineered by some of the best engineers in the country and supported by an adult crew of 15. Audience 400. VIP tent for performers

FEAST JOM Youth Sessions - at FEAST in West Norwood. Young acts utilise the equipment and sound engineering of high-end established adult bands.

    • Do also remember that, whilst this is the original there is an unrelated FB presence with a (very) similar name, which might also be prayed in aid.
    • Yet another increase, its absolutely disgusting. I was charged £7.95 to send documents recorded delivery last week. I asked for the Signed for option that only costs £2.50 but the Post Office refused & said they would only send them recorded delivery.
    • Thanks Admin for clarifying - I’ve now found the post they used to scrape my telephone number from. So it wasn’t a data breach from EDF, rather my foolishness posting it online 15 years ago…    Still leaving this thread here if that’s ok so that people are aware of this scam and don’t fall foul of it (also to think twice before posting phone numbers here as it can be used by any one as I’ve found out!)
    • There is deliberately nowhere to enter your phone number, name, address etc anywhere when registering an account on this forum. There never has been. There is no way to attach this sort of personal information to your account.  If someone says that EDF has given your phone number, then this is a lie. No personal information is sold to any third party and it is not collected in the first place.
