Hi, don?t know if this is aloud or not so sorry in advance if not.

I have 3 male rabbits (I think anyway) that I can no longer look after as I have had to move away and can?t look after them anymore due to work commitments. I have tried a local sanctuary for them but they don?t have any space, would anyone be interested in taking them on, or have any ideas please

How many have you tried? These are living creatures, not an old piece of furniture. How long have you got before you move? Giving them away on the internet puts them at risk for all kinds of horrible things. Admin, was there not a ban on live animals being sold and discarded on the forum?t

There's a variety of city farms you could try, and also you could call the RSPCA or Blue Cross to find a carer who could pick up from you if necessary.

Mammals such as rabbits and cats are often sourced online or even stolen for baiting in dog fights where they are torn apart so please don't give them to some random from the internet

here is a link to some city farms and I believe there is also one in Vauxhall.

Have you tried Celia Hammond at Lewisham. I?m positive they would not let this go without at least trying to find places for them. Bunnies need very special care and Are not really that good for young children to have as they need a lot of hard work. Please don?t let them go to anyone else other than a rehiring centre because as other people have said they could quite easily be used for bait animals. I have had bunnies before and I would take them in a heartbeat but it really is not possible for me at the moment as I will not be able to look after them properly. I wish good luck to these bunnies

    • Yet another increase, its absolutely disgusting. I was charged £7.95 to send documents recorded delivery last week. I asked for the Signed for option that only costs £2.50 but the Post Office refused & said they would only send them recorded delivery.
    • Thanks Admin for clarifying - I’ve now found the post they used to scrape my telephone number from. So it wasn’t a data breach from EDF, rather my foolishness posting it online 15 years ago…    Still leaving this thread here if that’s ok so that people are aware of this scam and don’t fall foul of it (also to think twice before posting phone numbers here as it can be used by any one as I’ve found out!)
    • There is deliberately nowhere to enter your phone number, name, address etc anywhere when registering an account on this forum. There never has been. There is no way to attach this sort of personal information to your account.  If someone says that EDF has given your phone number, then this is a lie. No personal information is sold to any third party and it is not collected in the first place.
    • Anyone else received a cold call from this company pretending to be calling on behalf of EE? When I asked how they’d got my data they said ‘from East Dulwich forum’. I have contacted the Admin to find out whether EDF are selling our data to marketing companies or if they’ve been hacked. Alternatively the website is being scraped somehow.    Just warning others in case anyone else receives a call- it’s a scam, do not engage with them 🙂
