  1. We could not be happier. Brian and Malachi were wonderful to have around the house while they were working. The result is 5 star and with Brian's direction the route we took was better than what we had planned. We love the look of our house it has totally changed the feel of the property and transformed it into a house we are proud of. Thank you so much for your great work. Not one hitch and felt really taken care of from start to finish. I cannot recommend them enough.
  2. Apologies, I forgot to hit follow on this thread so I’ve just seen your kind responses. He was in bad shape after a fight, but a week of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories sorted him out and he’s back to his old self now!
  3. Happy to say that (a very bruised and battered) Max dragged himself in this evening.
  4. Max disappeared 24 hours ago which is very unusual since he never misses a meal! He normally hangs out between Hindmans Road (where we live) and Crystal Palace Road. We’re worried that he might be injured and stuck in someone’s garden, so please let us know if you see him. Many thanks, Tom & Coralie
  5. Kyjah helped us transform our outdoor area last year and we're really happy with the results. He was friendly and hard-working and we would gladly recommend him.
  6. Ah thanks Spartacus! He?d be very welcome if our own cat would allow it. Glad he?s got a home though.
  7. Ran into our house when we came home and when we saved it from our cat it hung around outside for half an hour before trying other houses. No collar and seems distressed but appears to be well looked after.
  8. Thank you so much for posting this. I actually did one myself but in my haste/panic I posted in the wrong section! Very pleased to say that we just found him behind Lux Thai and he was very happy to continue his journey home! Really touched by the help we received.

  10. Haha. Yes. Thanks for the Cats Protection info though.

We saw those but were a little skeptical because our own (rescue) cat removed a permanent one in under 10 minutes when tried so wasn't sure how much to trust these!
  12. Thanks for your help everyone, particularly the recommendation of Celia Hammond, who were very helpful. I think we'll start with a few posters just to be absolutely sure we're not about to abduct anyone's cat, although he needs neutering in any case. Thanks, Tom
  13. There's an unneutered black and white cat who often comes into our garden on Hindmans Road. He sprays a lot which annoys our own cat, and recently attacked a neighbour's cat who was visiting our garden. He seems pretty healthy and content, but we were wondering if it's worth trying to get him neutered. We would need to establish that he's definitely stray or feral first, which I gather you can do with a temporary collar. Does anyone have any relevant advice or experience with this?
  14. We have just submitted our objections to the revised proposal. Fewer issues in this application that affect anyone beyond the immediate neighbours, but it is worth noting that the proposal removes off-street parking and adds multiple apartments with no parking provision. This is an increasing concern with the nearby developments such as the old police station due to increase demand further.
  15. Thanks to everyone who assisted us with objecting to the first application. We were very glad to see it withdrawn. Just a heads up that a revised application has been submitted: http://planningonline.southwark.gov.uk/AcolNetCGI.exe?ACTION=UNWRAP&RIPNAME=Root.PgeResultDetail&TheSystemkey=9558767 Thankfully the garden development has been removed, although as an immediate neighbour the proposed basement excavations are more than a little scary. We have several objections to the design that we will articulate in another objection letter, although it does appear to be moving in the right direction.
