  2. HI, this may not be the right place, but can anyone recommend an orthodontist who does fixed braces for adults? I've had a quote from Dulwich Dental Beauty today and it's a lot for bottom teeth - £3.5k! Any other recommendations welcome. Thank you
  3. thanks for the replies. that is good to hear. academically is it on par with the North Dulwich site, or is it too early to tell?
  4. Hi there, now it's Sep, can I ask any parents with children at East Dulwich Charter school how it is going? I am looking at senior schools for next year. I know that the North Charter has it's outstanding ofsted - not that it's all about that - but is Charter East Dulwich the same standard? And more importantly, are the new year sevens enjoying it? Thank you

This seems like a gross over exaggeration. I've never noticed "hordes" of vans or motorhomes lining the streets of ED. Yes, there are a few here and there but at least they are not a permanent fixture!

Also, having parking bays marked out the length of every street and the multitude of signs and parking meters that will go with them will look horrible. It will really spoil the lovely residential streets in ED.

There have been complaints from our MP, councillors, and the public. Of course they know about the problems in East Dulwich. God help us if this is the attitude of post office management.
  9. I have the same issues... Post once a week if we are lucky. Post for a different address on multiple occasions and even a parcel for another address that required a signature shoved through our letter box! It must be nearly 2 months since the sorting office closed and still no improvement.
  10. This may be unrealistic, but I have a few jobs that need doing, and would ideally like one person - is there anyone out there who could do all the following: Make good and decorate a cracked ceiling/ wall after house movement. Re-seal a shower which is leaking Re-wire a new integrated washer dryer in (would have to be qualified electrician) If so, please PM me. Many thanks Sophie
  11. Last Friday, a delivery courier made a bit of an error - he delivered a Zara parcel to someone on Pellatt Road (intended for me) but forgot who! He didn't put it on the card either. If anyone has a brown parcel clogging up their hallway, I will come and collect it asap. Many thanks, SJK
  12. thank you, both. I will investigate! that's very helpful.
  13. Apologies if this info is on another thread, but is there a place needing donations of good quality women's clothes? Looking to drop off tomorrow. Thanks
