  1. Strong recommendations from both the forum and our new neighbours don’t do Leon justice. He is the best electrician we’ve ever used. Fast, efficient and worth every penny. It’s a bonus that he’s so friendly and able to give good advice. Honestly can’t recommend him enough. If he’s busy it’s for a good reason and you’ll be better waiting for him to find you a slot than hire someone else. Possibly the best professional we’ve hired via the ED forum and we’ve been using it for 8 years. He did four tricky jobs for us and gave advice on another issue for a very reasonable price. He’s certainly the only electrician we’ll use from now on.
  2. Aria is absolutely top notch. Great advice and got the job done super quick with zero fuss or mess. Has other people in the trade to call on when necessary and is quick to communicate and work around your schedule. Can’t recommend him enough.
  3. We asked Lukasz to do a couple of jobs today and then added a few more as we’ve just moved house. Can’t recommend him enough. He was prompt and worked hard to get through our list and his costs are very reasonable. He cleaned everything up afterwards and we’ll certainly be using him again.
  4. I have to admit that when the original thread on this subject was closed “as it was getting too personal, too vindictive, too "wrong"” I did worry that the new thread would peter out, but here we are, 70 pages later, and everyone on both sides is still as vexed as a wet hen. With no end in sight, well done to all involved! What stamina. Good luck and carry on the good fight!
  5. The local scuttlebutt is that it’s this house https://www.harveywheeler.com/Property-For-Sale-Stradella-Road-London-pi-HWHE713.htm
  6. I heard the same rumour. At least he’ll be handy for the station… Fingers crossed no Russians from Salisbury pop over. I’d hate to end up with Novichok in my coffee just because Johnson popped in the local cafe for a sausage roll.
  7. It’ll be fun to throw tomatoes at him. Tinned ones from Waitrose of course.
  8. Another recommendation for Aston. We had what I thought would be a tricky job but he had it done in no time. Prompt and cheerful. We?ll certainly be using him in the future.
  9. From PC Bush who investigated the break ins in the Herne Hill area after the guy was filmed on a Ring doorbell: ?A quick update on your burglary. We identified a suspect and he was circulated. He was apprehended committing another burglary in Wandsworth and was interviewed and charged with a number of burglaries in Wandsworth. He was recalled to prison and I am now in the process of getting approval to visit him in prison to put the offences to him around the Dulwich area.?
  10. Sorry to hear this. Looks like the same guy who tried doors up and down Frankfurt Road a few nights ago. Not the first time he?s been caught on video and reported to the police, but they?ve had no luck picking him up.
  11. Oh no! Sorry to hear that. I'd ask in the cafe. The one we saw was happy enough in the meadow but also came to play on one of the cafe tables. I made the staff aware in case anyone came looking for that one. Maybe they've spotted your cat. Good luck and hope it's home soon.
  12. Happy to hear he/she was probably not lost. Thanks for the update!
  13. Spotted this friendly chap in the park this morning. No collar. Seemed happy and well fed but slightly worried now that he/she was lost.
  14. James, One person's visual harm is another person's art I guess :) but yeah I'd much rather see it become a suddenly interesting 'project' that prods both the illegal sign owners and the reluctant powers-that-be into action. It's just a dull sign now and it could be so much more. Penguins, hotdogs etc.
