  1. Hi everyone, I'm running a kids pom-pom headband workshop at The Mamahood Shop this Sunday 11am-12:30pm, for kids ages 8+. Kids will learn all my tips and tricks to making beautiful multi-coloured pom-poms with a Loome tool and take home a wonderful and unique pom-pom headband at the end of the class. This is a 1.5 hour workshop for kids ages 8+ and will introduce kids to a few introductory stitches to make their project, one of the most popular projects!   4. Hi all! I'm usually advertising my kids sewing workshops on here, but this time I have something for the adults! I'm running a Tassel Earring Workshop next Friday evening at the Mamahood Pop-Up Shop at 7 Lordship Lane next Friday evening, 7-9pm. Tickets are ?22 and include all materials to make 2 pairs of earrings.   5. Join us this Sunday for an afternoon of sewing at Stag & Bow! This is a beginner's sewing machine class for kids ages 8+ that will teach them the basics of how to use a sewing machine and make a giant doughnut pillow in the process. No previous sewing experience is necessary. The workshop is drop-off and takes place in Forest Hill at the crafty haberdashery Stag & Bow on Dartmouth Road. 1-4pm on Sunday, October 8th. ?40 per child, includes all materials and a sewing machine to use during the session. Kids will cover their matchboxes in fabric of their choosing, learn how to embroider the face and stitch it all together.   15. Join us for a fun afternoon of sewing at Stag & Bow in Forest Hill! If you're sticking around this Easter, keep the kids busy with some sewing and crafting! We'll be setting up our workshop at Stag & Bow, with a rainbow of felt and fabric to sew the most handsome crew of Spring Owls. In this 2-hour workshop, kids will learn how to sew their colourful Spring Owl out of felt, adding a colourful fabric belly, some feather wings and little feet. Kids will definitely leave the workshop knowing the difference between their running-stitch and their over-stitch! This workshop includes all materials and is drop-off (so enjoy a couple hours to yourself!). Ages 6 and up, no sewing experience necessary.
