  1. Opposite the Dulwich Hospital bus stop. There was a skip there 2-3 weeks ago which is now gone, it was outside a house having work done. Well, the skip is gone but the space it was taking and the surrounding space weren?t cleaned properly. On Tuesday my husband stepped on a piece of wood with a rusty nail as he was getting out of our car. The nail went trough his shoe and pierced his skin. The same day later on in the day he drove me to Denmark Hill station and by the time he got to ED roundabout he had to pull over and change a tyre because it was flat. I?m 100% sure it happened when we parked esrlier in the day on EDG where he stepped on the rusty nail. Just beware.
  2. Wow, what a shitty forum this can be.

I started a FB group called ?East Dulwich Meetup?. It has 17 members but it isn?t active. You?re all welcome to join and I?m happy to give admin rights to someone interested to help run it. I have 2 small kids and no time.
  4. Have you looked into a ketogenic and intermittent fasting lifestyle? Search for the ?keto? subreddit on Reddit and have a read. Lose weight quickly and without any hunger. Most importantly, it does wonders for people?s health.
  5. I turned around one night in bed at 1am and woke my now husband up to tell him ?we should get married!?. Half asleep he said ?yes! Will you marry me??. Two months later we took ourselves to the registry office and got married. A month later we sent ?we eloped? cards to our families. No one was happy they weren?t there but totally missed the point about us getting married had nothing to do with them. I missed out on a proposal and my husband picking my engagement ring...but I married the man I love.
  6. Sorry this has happened to you. About a month ago some tit in a stolen vehicle crashed into our car on EDG at 1am. Our car was written off. Our insurance paid out very quickly. I hope you find the culprit. Good luck.
  7. Bloody fox(es) won?t shut up! It has been non-stop this evening. It?s starting to get on my nerves. There?s now howling from what sounds like a small fox(es). Bloody insane. It?s in between EDG and Trossachs Road, it?s just gardens backing onto gardens so surely they?re in someone?s garden?
  8. I?ve attached a video with just sound of this animal that keeps on making the noise that can be heard on said video. I first heard it last night and thought it was a poor thing stuck somewhere in between fences or something. Tonight it?s back at it but I feel like it can be heard coming from 2-3 different places. It has also started considerably ealier (about 3-4 hours) than it did last night. Anyone know what it is? Thanks.
  9. Watched the first episode. I?m sorry to disagree but it?s horrible. Bad acting and overall very cheesy.

Horrible!

It?s horrible. It?s even waking my husband up and not even our crying kids at night (with the monitor on his side) will wake him up!
  12. For the last 2-3 nights I have been woke up at around 3-4am by a screaming/screeching animal...it?s like a constant ?aaahhh, aaaahhhh?. It?s in between EDG and Trossachs road. Is it foxes? They sound horrible.

Hi! Can we be best friends?! Unfortunately my husband is a bit of a ?saint? and doesn?t go out drinking, mind you he also only has one working kidney! Otherwise I would definitely send him out drinking and have him slam doors and stumble all over our uncarpeted floor. I did think of the kids? idea, not as elaborate as yours (you genius, you!) but if they don?t listen to or polite requests to not slam their doors then...I will be getting the kids up very early and having them do as you suggested. I nipped out last night and came back to my very peaceful hubs annoyed at them, so annoyed he actually had words with them whilst I was out...needless to say, they did not comply to his polite request about doors so they only received a card and we have kept the bottle of wine (it?s that good of a bottle!). They also haven?t locked the front door not once! Living in London and all, and their place being downstairs, wouldn?t it be in their best interest to lock the damn door?! No? Is it just me...?

We couldn?t have been annoying when she spent her last night with is drinking wine and playing with our kids. We?re also staying in touch and she?s welcomed to stay with us whenever she?s back in the neighbourhood. So stop wondering. I haven?t said anything yet because I understand moving in is a nightmare and people have got more to worry than about slamming doors. Even though they have been doing this, I still went out and got them a card and bottle of wine to welcome them...surely I can?t be that bad as a neighbour can I?

Yeah, my husband suggested getting one of those and even getting one for their front door to see if they take a hijt! Lol. We?ll speak to then this weekend. If they turn out to be horrible neighbours it?s their loss, we?re uostairs and have 2 toddlers whereas they don?t...I could easily stop telling my eldest not to jump, run, skin, ahot, etc. Hehehe.
