I used Bespoke windows to replace a front door. I initially thought the price to be a bit steep so I had a look at a recently fitted door, (they organised the viewing). Seeing the door the price made complete sense.The quality and strength of the door was above my user experience hence perception of composite doors. The fitting was C19 delayed but now fitted, it looks fantastic. No issues with communication, fitting etc. All went smoothly and the door surround made good. I would use them again without hesitation.

I have panels on my roof but in an easterly direction and not many so my electricity costs are zero most mornings. I think they suit people that occupy their houses throughout the day. Everybody has different needs but for me I would have the following criteria. 1) Install on both east and west side of roof so you have a good level of power throughout the day. 2) install with battery storage so some power is available for evenings. 3) Install in the tiles in black as opposed to on the tiles. It looks much less intrusive. Installing them today is not much of a saving comparing the installation versus the electricity costs. The new ones coming out of China seam to be the best value for efficiency, they seam to lead on efficiency over value. If you plan to be in your house for longer than ten years then you will definitely save and thats not taking into account the increases in the cost of electricity which should be taken into account. Finally if you install them black and in the tiles so they look nice I am sure it will add to the value of your house especially after a few years of inflation.

Having recently moved out of timber framed brick skinned house built in 2006 (lived in since new) into a fully brick built house built in 2016 to the latest building regulations I can tell you that the timber framed house is much warmer and hence cheaper to heat. It still looks the same as it did when new so I would have no hesitation in buying one again.

I have experienced this. I just bury the poo immediately at least 4" down with a hand spade. It fertilises your garden and the cats eventually just stop. Its a territorial thing for them.

I can recommend Kaysie. He sorted out the lights under my kitchen cupboards which another electrician on here failed to do on an earlier visit. I had eczema as a kid up to around 7 years old. An eastern European doctor gave my mum excellent advise that worked for me some of which she was practising already. 1. I have to use a body lotion in the cooler weather. In the UK I use it around 10 months of the year. Any cheap low fragrance will do, I currently use Sainsburys ?1 per bottle, 2. We do not use biological soap powder. 3. I use only liquid soaps, the soap in bars are too strong for me. 4, The most important one after moisturising is keeping the house dust free. We hoover twice per week and remove dust weekly from surfaces. When I walk into a house that's dusty any uncovered limbs start to tingle immediately. 5 Finally eat lots of fruit and veg in particular tomatoes and tomato purees. I didn't have to stop eating anything, the fruit and veg just strengthens the skin so it has more resistance to what life throws at it. I hope this helps. I have not had any problems since 7 years old so together everything is working.

I think you will find the bank will not do anything. I used my card to buy a pair of trainers in a shop in Carnaby St and in the next statement there was an American Airline charge for ?950 on my card. I reported it to my bank and they removed it from my statement. About a month later I don't know what got into me but I rang American Airlines in the US and quoted a long number next to the transaction on the statement and explained what had happened. The lady said "oh" in surprise, wouldn't give me details but did confirm the ticket hadn't been used yet. I asked if the bank had been in touch and she said no, the ticket was valid. I left it there and assumed the bank just wrote off the loss to it's P&L

If it's a small amount, bag it and put it in your green bin which goes to landfill. If a larger amount bag it and take to the Southwark recycle centre located on the Old Kent Road.

I think it's pathetic that you can not drop someone off at a station using a 10 second stop in a bus lane without receiving a fine. Provided you are not holding any any users of the lane I really don't see the problem. Perhaps next time the OP should stop in the middle of the road and discharge the passenger into the bus lane. The person reviewing the video should use some discretion and only fine if the offender parked in the Lane without reason.

You are likly correct but the principle remains,that the neighbour can not stop the work. The party wall agreement process is to allow the neighbour the option to have the work monitored at the instigators cost, He can not hold up the work by refusing to respond. Many neighbours will simply allow the work to go ahead provided Southwark building conttol are involved and they have access to drawings and works themselves. All a vindictive neighbour can do is insist on his own surveyor monitoring the works at the instigators cost.

I would discuss this with the contractor you plan to use. I am not sure you will need planning permission but you will need to contact an approved building control officer either southwark or southwark approved. They will want to see that the works are safe and will advise and certify accordingly. Normally a steel beam is inserted in each of the party walls to maintain the strength of the house but it maybe the engineer can design support without using the walls. I would not worry about the neighbour if you are not on speaking terms just get on with the work. Send a letter to the neighbour telling him what you are doing. If he decides he wants to a surveyor to monitor the works for which you are required to pay then get the same surveyor for your works. He can not stop the work provided you have building control approval. So in short, employ a contractor, advise the council planning and control to get advice and approvals, once approved advise the neighbour in writing and get on with the work. If the neighbour doesn't respond you can assume he doesn't want the party wall agreement. No problem.

I think you will find that this ATM was identified as a problem many years ago when this type of crime surfaced. It was mentioned in a local news article and I stopped using it then. Shielding pin input was recommended then and I have done it ever since where ever. Also if a machine is susceptible to fraudulent use as this one is,don't use it again. The store recently moved the machine to a more open/visible location to the right of the building and nearer to the cashiers window. I always thought this was to make it more difficult to scam so the store knows it is a problem.

The larger stores especially those outside urban areas are suffering reduced sales due to a gradual change in shopping habits. Twenty years ago most people would do a massive shop once per week at the superstore. Today more people eat out, and more people shop two or three times per week buying locally and cooking more fresh food. In a way it goes back to how things probably before the superstores. The big supermarkets are now selling off the larger plots in their land banks and backing out of building large stores.

I used Timpspns at DKH a month back out of convenience and yes they are expensive but what bugged me more was the poor quality of the keys. I went back to the chap in the dry cleaners next to the post office on Lordship Lane recently.
