@MrsR I've seen mistle thrushes on the running track at Peckham Rye Park. I don't know if they're gregarious like starlings, but there were quite a few. -

Vanishing view from Nunhead Cemetery ?
Peckhamgatecrasher replied to KidKruger's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I thought it was a protected view, but this website shows otherwise: London's Protected Views — Richard Gower This site may be of interest: Protected views and tall buildings - City of London Very sad, I always plonk on the bench and admire the view on the few occasions I go to the cemetery. -

Happy to report that either the storm took the blessed chimes away, or a neighbour took pity on me, for which many thanks.
-
Alas, I am surrounded on three sides by gardens with high fences/hedges. If I could scale the fences, the chimes would be long gone. There are seven possible suspects; I haven't the energy to have a potentially explosive conversation with all of them. Posting here allows me to vent. It may be futile, but you never know...
-
Please, please, please, take them down before tonight's storm. The ones in my neighbour's garden are jolly annoying already. Muschamp Road: I'm looking at you! Edits 1. To correct grammar 2. To correct street name 3. To apologise for swearing, I am going a little bit nuts from them, as you may be able to tell.

Don't vandalise this thread, Malumbu.

You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato. There’s more of gravy than of grave about you, whatever you are!

If you are referring to the 'snow', it is bloody irritating. Bah humbug!
