recommendation for good painter/decorator - Richard Bond
NannyAdelle replied to Florien's topic in Reviews
Another amazing job. Richard never disappoints. Managed to fit me in last minute for a pre Christmas spruce up in the living room. Such a friendly and reliable guy and great at what he does. And reasonably priced too. Thanks again -

Toys, books, clothes and baby stuff all really appreciated https://littlevillagehq.org -
Another recommendation for Emma. I've used Emma for nails and Lashes now. She's very good at what she does and very professional. I love the fact that she can come to me as it's not always easy to get to the salon when you have children.

Man arrested in connection with Dulwich Park stabbing
NannyAdelle replied to gerry's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Does anyone know how the victim is doing? Such a shocking thing to happen. In the middle of the day and so close to the kids playground. I really hope he is okay and they find whoever carried out the attack! -
Private nail technician, manicure, pedicure and spray tan
NannyAdelle replied to EmmaTapley's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Another recommendation for Emma. I've had my nails done twice and have already booked my third appointment as I'm really pleased with her work. Today one of my nails popped off (if I'm completely honest my fault not Emma's - I'm a nanny and look after 5 kids in total so a lot of hand washing and washing up) I sent Emma a message at 2:30 to say one he come off.. and by 7:30 the same day she had come and repaired my nail. Now I wouldn't have even been able to book an appointment at the nail shop this soon. What great service. Highly recommended. Ps Emma if you are reading I'll try and wear gloves when washing up in future x -
I would say to avoid John. He may be cheap but only if he doesn't have other work on. As I've just found out in a very rude manner! He originally quoted me ?150. I had some trouble getting neighbours permission to use side gate as they were worried about mess and damage. So had to ask a neighbour who's drive backs onto our garden. I got back in touch with John after a couple of weeks. Who then quoted ?300. Even though the job was now easier 6/8 bags had already been moved to the front of the house by my other half. 10 were bagged up in the back garden. So the pile was a lot smaller. We had also proposed that we put the rubble at the back end of the garden to pass through a removed back garden fence directly into his truck (avoiding the need to barrow the rubble 100ft to the front of the house). John was awful and rude to me on the phone. Told me he could do it if we were ready right NOW. Which we said would be fine if he wanted to help move the rubble to the back of the garden. But if we moved it as suggested by us (in an attempt to make his job easier) then it would need to be later this afternoon. He then said "the thing is love I have work coming out of my earholes" if you can't do it right now then I don't want to do it! He was pretty much shouting at me on the phone. Very aggressive. The thing is had he said I'm snowed under this weekend. Can I do one day next week. We would have been fine. I don't understand his manner if her likes recommendations and work to continue "coming out of his earholes" I've used a lot of people off the back of recommendations on this forum. It's disappointing to come across such an awful tradesman.
