  1. Our wifi was down for nearly 3 weeks. only just resolve.
  2. Just like to add my recommendation for Carl Ferri who did a fantastic job painting our hallway and bedrooms. It's really brought our rooms to life. His team were great with moving around our furniture and took great care to keep our home clean and tidy throughout the job. He also colour matched the paints perfectly so we could use Farrow and balls colours without the cost. I'll use him again for any future painting. Contact him on: [email protected]
  3. I've had issues with them as well. The companies that they use for dealing with issues like boilers etc are hopeless. They never turn up on time and then there are always issues with sourcing parts for relatively small jobs. The out of hours service is a joke.
  4. I nearly fell for this too. When they started asking for bank details then I shut the door on them.
  5. Costa are opening further up the road in Forest Hill and are rumoured to be interested in the DIY shop opposite the Plough.
  6. I never did get a refund from Andrew and Puccini kitchens for the horrendous worktop. I've had to pay for a replacement and the installation of it myself. It also meant that I had to buy a new sink so all in all it's cost me a fair bit.
  7. Had a meal on Saturday as part of the soft launch. Glad it was 50% off as it was pretty uninspiring stuff. Dry sourdough and asian style chicken wings for starters. They were out of steaks so guinea fowl for mains which was ok but salty and portion size not worth the full ?17. Sticky toffee pudding for desert was fine. Service was very chaotic but I'm sure this will improve. Men's toilet had a burst tap and the whole floor was flooded. There were also problems with the card machines which meant that dinners had to quick up at the busy bar to pay for dinner. Won't be eating here again, but a good pub for drinking.
  8. A guy in the Lidl car park in Peckham was asking for 27p for petrol for his car.
  9. Tasted some samples from Mila yesterday and they were excellent, particularly the rye sourdough and crackers. Good luck to this local business.
  10. Yes, we have Andrew. But communicating regularly does not constitute good customer care if there is no outcome. I'm still left with a poor quality worktop that I have to now pay to be replaced.
  11. We used puccini kitchens for our new kitchen fit last summer. While the standard and look of the kitchen is great, we have had numerous issues with the wood worktops that were provided. The first 2 worktops were stained with black rot marks. The third worktop that was finally fitted looked great for a few weeks. After this, it started to rot. The joins in the wood are of poor quality allowing water to seep in despite the worktops being regularly oiled. Unfortunately, Puccini kitchens are unwilling to refund me for the worktop which I am going to have to replace. A shame as they could have avoided this negative publicity for the sake of ?100. Disappointing customer service.
  12. Legal and General will insure provided the house wasn't underpinned in the last 15 years.
  13. Anyone know which houses, if any, in Dulwich/Peckham are involved this year? The website is hard to search and doesn't appear to show any in the area.
  14. Its all the cars parked up on the pavement that's the real problem. Leads to a load of antisocial behaviour with people hanging around smoking weed and makes it difficult to actually use the shops.
