I'm looking for recommendations for a landscape gardener to carry out fence repair, erecting a new shed, cutting down small trees, a new patio and levelling existing lawn. Thanks

Another recommendation for Andy who quickly diagnosed and repaired a leak in my water tank. He fully explained the problem and gave me some really helpful advice. Will definitely be using Andy again.

Another recommendation for Niko. He came round at very short notice to fix a faulty valve using one of his own spares instead of a new part. Functioning perfectly and done for less than a standard call out charge. He also phoned a couple of days later to make sure it was functioning properly. A really great service and I will definitely be using him for future jobs.

Made me chuckle :)

Just got home to find a massive dent in the passenger side of of my car. ( Black VW Golf) White paint marks. It must of happened between 10am - 1pm in Hansler Rd SE22 outside Dell's Garage. Any witnesses? Thanks for your help.

Me too. Used my debit card in Somerfield on Friday am and two withdrawals in India Friday pm and Saturday. When I contacted Abbey they had flagged them as suspicious but not bothered to bring it to my attention. Only noticed when checking my account online today.

Point taken but when your child is physically assaulted it puts a different slant on what you are prepared to tolerate. The police were very discreet and I am relieved that the girls responsible are no longer causing similar harassment to others.

My 14yr old daughter and her friend were victims of such a robbery (see previous thread - attempted mugging on Hansler Road.) Initially I didn't phone the police as I was of the opinion they wouldn't do anything. On the contrary, their response was prompt, and efficient. The two girls responsible were arrested and admitted everything,(along with a whole load of stuff carried out on other people.) The case went to court and they were found guilty. I was kept fully informed throughout the investigation. The event was very distressing at the time and fortunately my daughter has not been permanently traumatised. As a result she has become more streetwise and aware of potentially dangerous situations. I'm not saying that every incident like this has a positive outcome but nevertheless I would at least give the police a chance to do their job.
