  1. My son recently found a cream/white coloured cuddly rabbit on the street on Bellenden Road, not far from Flock and Herd butcher's. It looks a bit like the Jellycat bashful bunny but it is a different brand. We think it must be someone's special toy as it has got a girl's name embroidered in one of the ears. We would love to reunite this lovely bunny with its owner! If you think it could be yours please PM me.
  2. You could try Dulwich Orthodontic Centre in West Dulwich. We were referred there by our dentist and have been happy with them so far.
  3. Can we just add another recommendation for Peter. He has re-tiled our shower, was super quick, tidy and professional, very reasonably priced - and most importantly the shower is no longer leaking!!
  4. When you first sign in to the app it takes you through a few background questions and these include whether you think you have previously had the virus and if so what symptoms you had. It also asks you if you were tested at the time or not.
  5. We got our first order from Braizen Kitchen today - treated myself to a night off cooking for the family. We were blown away by how delicious it was. We had the meat balls and the fish pie. It was like home cooked but way better. The youngest child, who is normally quite a fussy eater, liked the meat balls so much that she licked the container clean afterwards... Also we thought very reasonably priced considering the quality and the size of the portions. We will be ordering again next week for sure.
  6. We have struggled to find good dog boarding in the area so will be looking with interest at any replies. We can however recommend Valerie at Belly Rub Club who offers a great dog sitting service with some lovely sitters. We were really impressed. The cost is basically the same as boarding and your dog will get lots of 1:1 attention. It may not suit your circumstances but if your dog is still recovering he/she might be happier in a familiar environment and would be the only dog.
  7. Wondering if anyone knows of any Pilates classes that run at the weekend that would be suitable for children to join? My 10 year old daughter and I would love to do this together but all the classes I have found so far are adults only. It appears the only other option might be private lessons but these are so expensive they aren't realistic for us. Any ideas gratefully received!
  8. We need a painter to do a small job for us, repainting a ceiling (which has previously had some water damage) in our small spare bedroom. It would need to be done at some point next Friday 9th - Sunday 11th September. If you are able to help with this, or know someone that can, please let me know! Would like to use someone local if possible. We are SE5.
  9. We have used Matt @ CASA regularly since we moved into the area in 2009. Mainly used him for restoring rads, brassware, the odd light but also other bits and pieces. He is a top bloke. Over the years he has unselfishly put us in touch with a number of v useful people. In addition to being super helpful, and a genuinely honest guy - he is almost always really cheerful! He's a fab member of the Bellenden Road crowd who has been there much longer than most. Really hope his business continues to thrive and that local people support it where they can!

  11. Some feedback on this play scheme which my three children attended this Easter. They had a truly fantastic time. Every day they came back covered in mud and complaining I had picked them up too early! They couldn't wait to get there each morning. This adventure playground is a real asset to the community and the staff who run it are so kind, thoughtful and fun. I am really hoping you will run another one over the summer, we will definitely be back.
  12. Sorry, this is a really old thread but I can't find anything more up to date! I was just wondering whether anyone had any recent experiences of the P13 and how reliable it is? We would be looking to use it for the school run in the mornings from Bellenden Road to West Dulwich, and then back again at the end of the day, so we need it to be reasonably reliable. Are the times given on TFL accurate at all, and do the buses generally arrive at the bus stop at the scheduled time? For example it currently says the 8.04 from Bellenden Road arrives 8.36? Would be really grateful for anyone's views on this. Thank you!
