  1. That's a good point Trinidad Roads across the Borough seem to have the worst potholes in years despite it being a mild winter so the council can't blame it on freezing and thawing damage. Why hasn't the extra cash generated through CPZs and LTNs been used to repair the roads? With the amount of revenue raised, which should be reserved for road based projects, one would almost expect tje streets to be paved with gold 🤣 Therefore why are the potholes worse thos year which is a danger for motorists and cyclists alike ?
  2. Only for deliveries, they take card in the resturant
  3. Who knows with how politicians flip flip to win voters support 🤔
  4. What does southwark provide for that amount of money? Does it include services like heating? Or is it basic only ? Sounds like motorists aren't the only cash cows being milked by councils 🤫
  5. Winds of change are coming BBC News - LTNs: Councils told to consider residents' support under new guidance https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68588254
  6. Or £50 grand just in case you get the urge to impulse buy a car 🤣
  7. First McDonakds then Sainsburys with their devious 2 for 1 offers Is this a cyber attack by the eating hackers ? What next, exposing the raw ingredients in KFC, stopping fish fryers remotely from reaching cooking temperature or redirecting takeaway food delivery's to homeless people (actually if hackers are reading this I take credit for the last idea) Maybe it's a prelude to an invasion cutting the public off from junk food so we all starve 🤔 Only conspiracy nuts know the truth 🤣
  8. Found the only viable alternative worth a vote .... BBC News - London Mayoral elections: Intergalactic space warrior Count Binface to stand https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68552817
  9. Whatever happens at least we've got better choices than Trump vs Biden 😉
  10. Do they give any breakdown for the increase ? Are they planning major or minor works over the next 12 months. Sounds a large increase if there is no planned change to their maintenance for this year.
  11. Love the posts Rocks puts up from One Dulwich. They report facts that the council are twisting the narrative to suit their agenda and some people seem to compare them to an organisation like the illuminati. Billy, you may think you're safe behind your handle but the axis of evil that is 1d will expose your true identity as H from steps 🤣
  12. Sometimes Mal your logic escapes everyone 🤣
  13. @march46 we will have to wait and see if the Streatham LTN is reinstated or, if like the rising bollards that were in Peckham years ago, simply forgotten about post the road works. Its a 50 50 gamble.
  14. Thanks Rockets It's like a quote from the bible "before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times" What is the real reason for keeping it? Residents don't want it (see above) it's not a money maker as you can't drive through the square so no fines generated, It's almost as if someone has a vested interest in it staying, maybe a resident who is in the council 🤔 or a friend of a friends kid goes to school there. Who knows 🤷‍♀️ but does feel like residents are rolling a stone uphill at the moment 🤔
