  1. Hi, I visited Dulwich Park this evening, entering via the Court Lane gate, walking down to the front tennis. During our time on the tennis courts I realised that my wedding band was missing. I looked around the tennis courts and the gate, that we entered, to see if I could find it. However, I could not. The wedding band is for a male and is made of platinum. If anyone finds a male's platinum wedding band please could you let me know? Thanks RR
  2. Hi, I am thinking about using aqua-build to carry out some work on my property. Does anyone have any feedback on these guys? Thanks RR
  3. Hi Can anyone recommend a good, efficient, trustworthy fencer? Part of our fence has blown down and we would like to replace it pronto. RR
  4. Golliwogs are offensive period. However, if you went to the same school as Carol Thatcher or move in the same circles as her then you would find that golliwogs were an item of empowerment or some darkies nickname! Let's be honest Golliwog normally gets shortened to wog and wog is not really a term of endearment now is it? For all those people that think a golliwog is not offensive: 1) buy one; 2) find a black person; 2) give black person doll; 3) close your eyes. Dully in future I think you should post about complete and utter mundane topics e.g. losing your none existent cat or how your iPhone 67 does not synch with your iPad 72 or how your local coffee bar has run out of organic coffee again or how your neighbour's children have nits and your pet mystic rabbit senses something wrong.
  5. Tonight I was driving down Court Lane, towards Harold George, around 2015Hrs. As I was approaching the section of the road where it bends left, with the box junction on the right a silver people carrier, that had travelled down Carlton Avenue, came bombing across the box junction. Luckily, I was more aware and took action to avoid an accident. Anyway, a heated discussion ensued, with a few expletives, where the driver of the people carrier was yelling that I have to give way. I pointed out to the driver that he was insane and the give way sign is actually at the bottom of Carlton Avenue and he had to give way. I think we were both lucky as the lights turned green and we both drove off. Here's a link to the junction in question: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&source=hp&q=maps.google&ie=UTF8&hq=.google&hnear=&layer=c&cbll=51.45079,-0.08507&panoid=sJgAdhfnlFxuQ8UJf1EdAg&cbp=12,274.45,,0,2.7&ll=51.450861,-0.085219&spn=0,359.887218&z=13 If you pan the image you can clearly see the road marking at the bottom of Carlton Avenue. I passed my driving many, many years ago and didn't know that I'm to give way in situations like this. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything that can be done to improve this area? RR
